In May I gave a course to archaeologists at MUG in Leek on tanning, types of leather and conservation of archaeological leather. In the afternoon we visited the Northern Archaeological Depot in Nuis, where archaeologists examined leather objects and assembled shoe fragments. The day ended with the awarding of certificates.
